ISOFIT Studio Policies & Guidelines

Self-Practice Policy (Normal Clients)

For safety and insurance reasons, Iso Fit clients are not permitted to use studio equipment unsupervised outside of their scheduled sessions. This applies to Iso Fit clients - Polestar students will have a separate self practice policy. 

Why This Policy Exists

Safety First - Pilates involves precise movements and techniques requiring proper form and alignment. Without expert supervision, clients may unknowingly perform exercises incorrectly, increasing the risk of injury.

Insurance Coverage - Our studio insurance protects both clients and our business, but coverage is contingent upon supervised sessions led by qualified instructors. Unsupervised practice may void insurance protection, leaving both parties vulnerable.

Service Value - As a Pilates studio, our primary service is providing expert instruction and guidance. Ensuring all clients receive professional supervision upholds the integrity of our business model and supports studio sustainability.

Pre-Session Warm-Up

A gentle 5-minute warm-up before your session is permitted under these conditions:

  • Use only a mat or small accessories (no studio equipment)
  • Ensure sufficient space without disrupting ongoing sessions
  • Do not encroach on other clients' training areas

Package Validity Periods

All packages have specific validity periods. Once expired, a new package must be purchased.

We generally expect clients to attend at least once per week. Benefits accelerate significantly when attending twice per week or more.

Planning Your Package

Before purchasing, ensure you can comfortably complete all sessions within the validity period. We build in buffer weeks to accommodate occasional scheduling challenges, but consistent attendance is essential for optimal results.

Pro Tips:

  • Train with multiple instructors for varied perspectives and better scheduling flexibility
  • If you have both studio sessions and complimentary group classes, prioritize completing your studio package
  • Book sessions in advance to secure your preferred time slots

Why Validity Periods Matter

Consistency in Service - Pilates is progressive and builds on previous sessions. Validity periods encourage consistent practice for better results.

Optimal Frequency - Regular attendance (ideally twice weekly) accelerates benefits and contributes significantly to overall well-being.

Encourages Commitment - Time-bound packages foster discipline and a more effective approach to fitness goals.

Resource Planning - Validity periods allow efficient planning of instructor availability and studio space, ensuring quality service for all clients.

Fair Instructor Allocation - Time-bound validity enables better distribution of sessions among qualified instructors, maintaining high standards of personalized attention.

Studio Resource Management - Limited space and equipment require optimization. Validity periods prevent unused sessions from accumulating and ensure smooth client flow.

Business Sustainability - Validity periods maintain steady revenue streams, allowing us to continue offering high-quality sessions and maintain facilities.

Package Customization - Different clients have varying schedules. Validity periods provide flexibility while ensuring responsible resource use.

Package Extensions

Grace Period Guidelines

We understand that life happens. As a courtesy, we may offer a complimentary grace period for package extensions:

  • 5-session packages: Up to 1 week
  • 10-session packages: Up to 2 weeks
  • 20-session packages: Up to 4 weeks

Grace periods are offered at management discretion and may be extended further for extenuating circumstances (instructor illness, studio closures, etc.). Please contact the studio manager to discuss your situation.

Extension Options After Grace Period

If you cannot complete your package within the grace period, you have two options:

Option 1: Paid Extension - Extend your package per our standard extension policy with a small fee. View extension fees: Extension Policy PDF

Option 2: New Package Purchase - Purchase a new package of equal or higher value. The value of unused sessions from your expired package can be applied toward the new purchase at no extra charge.

Free Group Class Promotion

Important Requirements

Clients are entitled to complimentary group classes only if they agree to the promotion terms and conditions.

You must:

  • Sign the terms and conditions via the MindBody online form
  • Complete this step before any free group classes are added to your account

Without signed agreement, complimentary classes cannot be activated.

Late Entry to Group Classes

Iso Fit maintains a strict no-late-entry policy for group classes that have already started.

Why This Policy Exists

Fairness and Respect - The policy ensures fairness for participants who arrive on time and demonstrates that everyone's time is valuable.

Minimizes Disruption - Late arrivals interrupt class flow, distract other participants, and disrupt instructor demonstrations and guidance.

Safety and Warm-Up - Fitness classes include warm-up exercises to prepare the body for exercise. Missing the warm-up increases injury risk, as bodies are not adequately prepared for workout intensity.

Instructor Planning - Instructors carefully structure class progression for effective, cohesive workouts. Latecomers disrupt this planning and may require additional attention, compromising the experience for others.

Respect for Participants - The policy preserves the overall class experience and satisfaction. It ensures smooth progression without constant interruptions, fostering a positive, focused atmosphere.

What This Means for You

Please arrive on time for all group classes. If you arrive after class has started, you will not be permitted to enter and your session credit will be forfeited.

We recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early to:

  • Check in at reception
  • Store your belongings
  • Set up your mat or equipment
  • Mentally prepare for your session
