Why the Assessment is Required

Personalized Training Foundation

  2. Design safe, effective programming: We ensure exercises are appropriate for your body and modified as needed
  3. Set realistic goals: Together, we establish clear objectives aligned with your lifestyle and aspirations
  4. Maximize results from day one: You'll know which exercises benefit you most and why

Safety and Effectiveness

Pilates is a precise discipline where proper form and appropriate exercise selection are crucial. The Assessment ensures:

  • You perform movements safely and correctly

  • Receive anatomical explanation of what your body is doing and why
  • Learn how your posture affects daily functional activities
  • Understand which Pilates principles address your specific patterns

4. Goal Setting and Program Design (15-20 minutes)

Your instructor will:

  • Discuss findings from the assessment
  • Explain how Pilates exercises can influence your specific asymmetries
  • Recommend appropriate training options (group, private, or rehabilitation)

  • Help you choose the right program based on your goals, schedule, and budget

What to Bring to Your Assessment

  • Comfortable exercise clothing that allows free movement
  • Clean socks (mandatory for all Iso Fit sessions)

Optional but Helpful:

  • Any relevant medical reports (X-rays, MRI, doctor's notes)
  • Doctor referral letter if you have one
  • Questions you'd like to ask about your training

After Your Assessment

Once your Assessment is complete, you'll have:

✓ Clear understanding of your postural patterns and movement quality ✓ Personalized recommendations for your training path ✓ Knowledge of which program type suits your goals and budget ✓ Confidence to begin your regular training sessions

Your instructor will guide you in choosing from:

  • Group Sessions: Mat classes (max 12 participants) or Reformer classes (max 9 participants)
  • Studio Sessions: One-on-one or two-on-one personalized training
  • Rehabilitation Programs: Physiotherapy-integrated sessions with qualified specialists

  • It ensures you're placed in the appropriate class level
