ultimately responsible for tracking your scheduled classes. This article
explains our notification system and how to ensure you receive
reminders.
Our Commitment to Communication
When you book a class or appointment with us, our system automatically sends:
- A confirmation email with a calendar attachment
- An SMS text message confirmation
We make every effort to keep you informed about your upcoming sessions.
Your Responsibility
You are responsible for managing your own schedule and attending your booked classes. While we provide automated notifications as a courtesy, several factors can prevent you from receiving them:
- Email deliverability issues (spam filters, incorrect email address, full inbox)
- SMS delivery failures (incorrect phone number, carrier issues)
- Your communication preferences blocking certain notification types
- Technical system errors
Important: Missing a notification does not excuse you from our standard cancellation and no-show policies. We recommend:
- Adding confirmed classes to your personal calendar immediately after booking
- Checking your schedule regularly in your Mindbody account
- Setting your own reminders on your phone or calendar app
- Verifying your contact information and notification preferences are current
How to Update Your Notification Preferences
To ensure you receive all available communications from us:
- Log into your Mindbody account in a web browser
- Click My Info
- On your Profile screen, click the Edit (pencil) icon in the Personal section
- Locate the "What do you want to hear about?" section
Update your notification preferences by clicking the Email or Text boxes
- Emails and text messages are enabled when the boxes are checked
- Verify your email address and phone number are correct
- Save your changes
Note: Both email AND text notifications are recommended for the most reliable schedule reminders.
Troubleshooting Notification Issues
If you're not receiving notifications:
- Check your spam/junk folder for emails from us
- Add our email address to your contacts to prevent spam filtering
- Verify your phone number includes the correct country and area code
- Confirm your email and phone number are current in your profile
- Ensure both Email and Text options are checked in your preferences
